Litex are a true pain... Last year RC Genk from my native Belgium drew them in the UEFA Cup, they got a great result away from home but then suddenly lost the home game and were out of Europe. Litex was expected to be without a chance, but they beat Genk in Belgium and proceeded, leaving Genk with braced dreams and financial worries...

But... Litex seems to be a team performing better away from home than at home, in recent years they made the difference a few times during the away game. Maccabi is definitely still with a good chance of proceeding, just go for the victory in Bulgaria, they're not bad but definitely not a side that can't be pushed away. Good luck to Maccabi!

Dude what happened to this forum?

Maccabi will be facing Litex in 2 days again but in their stadium after a 1-1 in our "home" game and Hapoel will be playing Odesa in Israel (YES THE GAMES ARE BACK TO ISRAEL) after a 1-0 in Odesa, but too bad its not gonna help Maccabi.

Any thoughts?

Congrats mate!! And with football back in Israel, that means you'll have the chance to really enjoy the European adventure. I'm happy for you, congrats to Maccabi!

Marseille and Schalke out, some serious surprises... Very nice surprise from Z.Waregem from my native country as well: beating Lokomotiv Moskva.
And too bad for Derry, but guess the whole of Ireland can be very proud of their European run.

In 2010 the UEFA Cup final will be in Dublin, will be the very biggest football event ever on this island.

Well, at least you have some European football to enjoy, us Rosenborg fans are left behind with not even Intertoto Sad until we're back in the Champions League next season of course Cool

Will the games be played in Haifa or in Ramat Gan?

He who waits for something good, never waits in vain, though he may wait a long time.

Rosenborg is coming back RBK

Some nice games for Haifa! You have a decent chance to end in the top-3 and qualify. Good luck, and beat those annoying Rangers! Tommel'n opp!

I just ment that the opponent should be irrelevant as long as you are able to watch your favourite team playing European cup matches. Smile

The Rangers-matches should be corkers, though. Hope Maccabi can beat them.

Have a good times on those games, Green Apes! I'm sure it will be very pleasant now that the games are back in Israel Tommel'n opp! And both home games are against teams Maccabi can definitely beat, with a bith of luck you'll see 2 victories!

Be glad that you don't have Rangers at home. They're one of the most racist clubs in Europe and their fans are often violent, you don't want to see that sort of people in your home city...

Gerrit, my firend, I think you have them confused with the Celtics.

No, wait....

It's both of them. They're all mindless monkeys. Never mind... Wink
