The weird thing is, given pre-season and the players that have come and gone over the winter at each club, RBK are now favourites which might work against us. The pressure is always on us given we're the biggest club yet I genuinely thought Stabaek would be in much better shape than they are now. Alanzinho's departure is massive, Daigo is nothing like the player he is and in my opinion, not as good.

The added teams this year might change the dynamic but I really do think we're going to win the league. Whilst Hamren's job is secure with RBK, and I think he is most definetly the right man to take the club forward, the potential sackings of other managers e.g Rosler maybe might throw up a challenge to us.

Can't wait for the season to start!

yeah, I hate the expectations. Each year, always the same thing. "Rosenborg is going to win", but just look at last year. Hope our player will cope with it.

When that's said, Daido Kobayashi is acctually much better than anyone believed. He's not such and individualist as Alanzinho, but has a killer passing-foot and already Alanzinho seem to be forgotten by many. I was at Telenor Arena when Stabæk played the friendly against Rosenborg and Daigo was amazing. He'll definitely be a profile of the year, I think. He has opened a new dimention for Stabæk, for as Alanzinho would keep the ball and advance towards the opposition's defence and play the ball in the last minute before loosing it (sometimes did lose it), Kobayashi is pissing out passes here and there from the midfield and out to the flanks, widening the attack. We already saw against Rosenborg, the increased number of crossballs, and dangerous breakthrough-passes (or whatever bakroms-pasninger means in english).

I'm a Rosenborg fan all the way through, but I'm probably going to be a big fan of Daigo in the end too. I heard, by TV2 he has millions of fans back in Japan, is this corrrect?

Obviously Daigo is at Stabaek in the hope of gaining a move to a larger European club. It's strange how the Japanse only come to Europe at in their late twenties though e.g Nakamura, Ono etc in past years.

Stabaek will miss Gunnarsson though also it has to be said. Noticed LSK signed Nordveit today, will be a good signing I think and they will obviously do better this year.

Excellent result tonight, 3-0. Relatively comfortable win, Steffen was 50-50 onside but Olsen's goal was spectacular.

Good start. One thing I have to ask though, why were the VIF fans located in the Adidas stand?

Yeah, they do, last season they were housed in Adressa. Probably better putting them closer to home fans, should improve the atmosphere with them being next to Kjernen.

Forgot to thank 2mas for the Hamren articles of late, great reading and so far, it's playing out on the pitch. Very Happy

Kjernen has moved to the top tier on the opposite stand, above where the away supporters were located before.

Great photo. That's one of the good things about being in the upper tier of the stadium, they can utilise the advertising boards for displays etc. (Though the people down below are going to get covered in confetti etc.)

euchannels.net might work.

Edit: Seems like they're "charging money" by requesting you to sign up at some bingo site.

JLC TV should by the way work for the (Saturday) matches at NRK1.

Hamrén:

"You don't win the league after two games. We'll have to wait until we've played ten games to see at which end of the table we will be fighting, but we're very satisfied about winning the first two games against teams I see fighting for top places."

Well, thats not exactly correct. RBK is one of the youngest teams in the league, and the other teams more or less have the same players as they had last season.

Dissapointing to lose a goal so late against Brann but you have to pleased with the early form. Molde top so far is a surprise not too much of a worry, pleased that Stabaek, VIF and Viking have all started slowly.

VIF is not a threat, but you should add Brann and Lillestrøm to your list.

It was specially good since we hadn't won in Kristiansand since 2002. Now we have laid pressure on Molde and all the others on Monday.

Happy easter everyone!

I think Rosenborg could challenge for the title, you know! I wonder if they can keep this performance up...

Good results for us on the whole. Moldskred impresses again, if we were to buy in Norway he'd be my choice for a striker.

Or maybe a return for his partner Sigurd Rushfeld? Smile His finishes today were class and he is a youngster compared to Roar Strand. Why not? He was in a dialogue with Rosenborg earlier as well.

I'd rather see him break Brattbakk's record in a Rosenborg kit.
