How are you all celebrating christmas?
How are you celebrating it personal, how is it usual in your country?

I think it is an interesting topic, now as we are just one step away from the holy days!

I am celebrating it with my family as usual in Germany. Tomorrow it is "Heiligabend", not a real holy day, but the day when the "Weihnachtsmann" is coming to give the gifts. It´ll be a nice small and quiet gathering with giving presents to each other, eating a good dinner and listening to christmas music. After the meal and the giving of presents, the "Bescherung" we will sit together and have a nice talk.
The two holy days are the two "Weihnachtstage", when you usually greet everybody who is near to you and wishing "Frohe Weihnachten". It is also usual to meet with other members of the family on these days. These are the three important days. The christmas time is not over at all until the 6th January the "Heilige Drei Könige"-day.

I am looking forward to hear from your stories of Julenissen or something else! Tommel'n opp!

I'll be eating pizza and watching Black Adder. Then spend time with family.

I am not religious, so I don't really celebrate christmas. It just means a day off work for me, but with all shops and most bars closed the city looks so damn quiet that it can be boring. Luckily the Goth bar is open, so I am spending Christmas Eve in the gothic bar Tommel'n opp! Is there any better company for christmas than the likes of Nick Cave, Bauhaus, Siouxsie Sioux and Robert Smith?
