How long will Lars will be out with his sliced finger. Does this mean Lund Hansen will get to play more? |

Yep, but he has to withdraw because of his accident with this weapon of destruction:

A friendly for Canada? He probably hurt himself on purpose so he didnt have to play in the Canada friendly then. |

I hope he will be more careful in future. I,ll cry if Rosenborg lose such an important player in the final days of the league and Champions League because of an Ostehøvel |

Reminds me of Santiago Canizares (Valencia) who once missed the World Cup with a foot injury... after a bottle of perfume accidently fell on his foot and bursted _________________ Rosenborg, forever pride of the North!

sorry for going offtopic, but why do you have a Frick image (Liechtenstein player) in your signature? Very original I must say. _________________ Rosenborg, forever pride of the North!

It seems like he has been back the last few games and played well. |

Hirschfeld wants to defer decision whether to extend his contract with Rosenborg. The club however insists quick answer.

Translated: he wants to leave, but also to play until his contract expires. |

A winter move is possible if Rosenborg succeed in signing Rune Jarstein. I guess Lars has impressed quite a few clubs with his performances in the Champions League.
I personally would like to keep Hirschfeld. He is a great person and his performances have been at a very high and stable level during his two seasons - in deep contrast to his predecessor Espen Johnsen. Jarstein will hopefully be a good replacement though. |

Doesn't seem like we are interested in him.
But if Jarstein chooses VÃ¥lerenga instead, I actually think Arason isn't a bad choice. |

If Jarstein is the one they would rather have why are they pressing for a contract extension anyway. |

tyrop: Even though neither Rosenborg nor Lars say he has made up his mind, it seems so. |

So if Rosenborg prefer to have this keeper and want to get rid of Lars as fast as possible why do they publicly say they hope to sign him to an extension. That seems strange. |

That's business. Bad thing to say you want to get rid of someone before starting negotiations. |

I followed this topic the last days. And I have to say that I'd like to see Lars in RBK-goal the next 2-3 seasons. I had a nice talk with him in Trondheim (in german language) and it seems that he is not just a good keeper but also a very kind person. Would be a big loose!
He would be the next one in the line of players saying farewell: Dorsin, Koppinen, Kvarme, Lago, Kone ( ? ) ...
Who will play in European Cup in late winter / spring time as we are allowed to add 3 players to our list, but no more and loosing so many? _________________ Hilsen fra Tyskland |

Is there any update on this? I heard no transfer rumours about Lars so I assume that he will stay in Trondheim? (I hope he will...) _________________ Rosenborg, forever pride of the North!

No transfer rumours, and no news about any contract negotiations. However, negotiations with Odd Grenland concerning a possible transfer of Jarstein (Norwegian international) to Rosenborg has stranded as Odd Grenland supposedly demand 18 mill NOK ( ) while Rosenborg have offered 9 mill NOK. |

I think Jarstein won´t come to RBK in 2008. But maybe it would be better to get him 2009 for free?
Lars would be - with or without Rune - my number one keeper! Guess he´ll stay in Trondheim for one more year and then probably leave the club! _________________ Hilsen fra Tyskland |
