The talented player is bought from ASEC Abidjan for an undisclosed fee, and has signed a 3-year-deal.
"This is an attacking midfielder from one of Africa's best clubs. A creative and very exciting guy. We needed another player at the midfield, and it was a simple choice," Rosenborg talent scout Stig Torbjørnsen says.

ASEC coach Patrick Liewig on Konan:
"He is a flexible player, who is capable of playing as a midfielder or striker. He is a good dribbler and is capable of scoring from long range, as well as creating goal opportunities, which he lacked before. He is the kind of player who believes in the collective game and is learning quickly, but will need to focus more [if he wishes to go far]."

Another foreign player to arrive but if he is better than what RBK have, then you can have no complaints. |

Tørum was first talking of putting Konan in the midfield, but the last two friendlies has shown that Konan's skills might best fit for a role as right winger. I hope he will be given much playing time in the next four matches, so the coaches are able to make a conclusion. |

Deal. Shame we can't strengthen though, Iversen is getting older and with the exception of Olsen and Prica, we look pretty thin in attack. |

Great deal for Didier! The Bundesliga is a strong league and Hannover is a strong side.
Sad news for RBK, Konan was one of my favorite players and a needed, creative attacking midfielder.
There is a ton of talent in Africa that is willing to make the move to better leagues. Here in Chicago, we have two very good players that start for us, one is a striker from Ghana and the other a central defender from Mali.
Hopefully RBK is looking to replace Didier, we're in the final stretch and not that many points ahead of the league. _________________ www.chicago-fire.com
