Fantastic news for us Rosenborg fans.
Iversen will be crucial in the qualifying matches in Champions League.

Good luck to Genk I hope you will find your striker soon, but in the future don't look to us for new players.

Your flirt with Iversen was very expensive for RBK, we had to give him a much better contract.

You have to excuse him, apparently he suffers from mental disorder as you can see.

Not every Genk fan is like that Wink

Fantastic news! Thanks Steffen for staying loyal to Rosenborg!!

To Genk: I hope you find another striker (he won't be as good as Iversen though Razz ), I do hope you win the title. Veel succes in de titelrace, make you sure you beat the annoying purple-whites! Wink

Dagbladet.no wrote:

- Skuffet over Steffen

- Disappointed with Steffen

Genk director on the refusal.

(Dagbladet.no): Steffen Iversen signed a new contract of four years duration today, rejecting a transfer to Belgian club Genk. The Belgian top-of-the-league are sad that the transfer was called off.

- Naturally, we are very disappointed. We spent a huge effort preparing the transfer, but now we have to start looking for a replacement, says Genk technical director Willy Reynders, according to Giert Stroobants from the newspaper Belang van Limburg.

Further more, Reynders says the club by no means feel misled by Iversen, however he would love to see Steffen in the deep blue-coloured jersey. Instead, it will be football on a domestic basis for "Litj-Ivers"* for the next four years.

*Litj-Ivers = "the small Ivers", Iversen's nickname in Norwegian media, being the son of striker legend Odd "Ivers" Iversen.

In any case, I couldn't find any news in the Iversen matter on the Belang van Limburg website. Could you Belgians please tell us a bit more of the reactions from Genk officials?

Make that Champions League! Please win the league, I really dislike Anderlecht so Genk could do me a huge favor by winning the league.

By the way fellow Flemish friends, you're always more than welcome on www.fantalk.be, the biggest Flemish football forum (and co-run by me). I am co-admin there, since having emigrated out of Belgium I use the forum to keep up-to-date on the Belgian league. We have a few Genk fans there, but more of them are always welcome Smile And yes, I am a Rosenborg fan, fan since 1994 now. But if you'd visit Fantalk.be, you will easily recognise me by my Rosenborg banner in my signature, I'm the only Rosenborg fan there (probably the only Belgian RBK fan ??) RBK

Best of luck in the league and I hope you find a replacement striker. He won't be as good as Steffen maybe, but he's ours and he's ours to stay RBK

I am an 'Aspie' yes.

How would you notice?? Depends on the situation. If you'd meet me in a workplace, you may not notice a lot because everyone behaves in a very formal way according to some memorisable rules. If you'd meet me in a pub, you'd see that I have serious problems in eye contact, body language, recognising and understanding less seriously intended comments, ... I did learn some tricks over the years to masquerade the AS, but especially when people behave in a very unformal/unserious way you will notice I behave a bit different from the rest. In more formal environments such as a workplace, I have it much easier to hide the problems I have in social behaviour and dialogues.

One of the best resources on AS I have come across, is www.as-if.org.uk, written by a girl who also has the syndrome.

A few weeks ago I did a lecture for a group of psychology students, a lecture about growing up with Asperger Syndrome. It was nice to do that, raising awareness is a core step in the emancipation of us autistics. I also plan to participate in the Autism Pride Day the coming year, and I am a member of the local Autistic Society.

But please don't see me as a freak or so. Just a bit different but I'd like to rather say "normal in a slightly different way".

That's exactly how I see it, anyhow. Just a different mind... I think it's interesting!

Steffen Iversen wants to spend the rest of the winter in England on loan at Wolverhampton.

"This is still at a very early stage, and we don't know what Rosenborg will say. But we think this move will be the right for Steffen," his advisor Christian Eidem states.
