Standard Liege - Steaua 2-2 (Full Time).

And what a match it was...
First 15 mins. were totally Steaua's and Paraschiv scored for 0-1. Standard came back to life and equalized through a magnificent free kick by Rapaic.
Then Standard had another big miss and pretty much controlled the rest of the half.
Standard started the second half in good form and a lucky shot by Rapaic put them in front 2-1.
Then the match totally changed, Steaua taking control yet again. Finally, Marin managed to score from a cross that just missed Nicolita's head but still managed to enter the net.
Steaua missed several other opportunities when Oprita's shots went wide.

All in all, great football and a fair result.
We'll wait for the 2nd leg in Bucharest.

too bad we dont have the same luck.

2-1 Liverpool and we can think about UEFA.

PS: every year the same thing we always lose in the last minutes what the hell cant we have some luck too?????

I just finished watching the LFC-Maccabi game. Too bad Maccabi lost, in my opinion they would have deserved at least a draw. Lots of nice combinations and quick counter-attacks, just the kind of play I enjoy watching. And if Liverpool keeps playing like they did today, Maccabi might just be able to beat them! Tommel'n opp!

When it comes to Danish football I tend to follow AC Horsens a bit, because I've been there a few times and find it a very agreeable little town, and my girlfriend is from Horsens. Besides, her brother is an AGF fan, poor man, and I know it pisses him off that ACH is up there whilst AGF is wallowing in the depths of the Danish 1st division.
